Getting Started

Step 1: Download

• Mobile: Visit Coinbase.com/wallet → Select App Store or Play Store

Coinbase® Wallet FAQ

Q1: Can I use my Coinbase® login for the Wallet? A: No. Coinbase Wallet is entirely separate. Your exchange credentials won't work. Access requires your 12-word recovery phrase or device PIN.

Q2: How is this different from the Coinbase Extension? A: The "Coinbase Extension" connects to your Coinbase® exchange account. The "Coinbase Wallet Extension" is for the non-custodial wallet – they're distinct products.

Q3: Can I trade on Coinbase Pro through the Wallet? A: No. For Coinbase Pro login and trading, use the exchange platform. The Wallet only supports decentralized swaps via integrated DEXs.

Q4: What if I lose my phone? A: Reinstall the app on a new device and select "Recover wallet". Enter your original 12-word phrase to restore access. Without the phrase, funds are irrecoverable.

Q5: Are there fees for using Coinbase Wallet? A: The wallet is free. You'll pay:
